Let's begin our tour from the main entrance, which will lead you directly to the heart of the ancient city: the Forum. This large open space was the nerve center of Pompeii's public and commercial life, and it represents one of the most significant areas of the entire site. The Forum of Pompeii was surrounded by important public buildings and temples, and served as a meeting place, market, and political discussion area.

At the center of the Forum, you can admire the imposing columns and the remains of the structures that once adorned this vibrant square. On the western side, you will see the remains of the Temple of Jupiter, dedicated to the main god of the Roman pantheon. This temple held great religious and political importance, and its Corinthian columns, though partially reconstructed, demonstrate the opulence of its architecture.

To the east of the Forum is the Temple of Apollo, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Pompeii. The Temple of Apollo, with its Doric columns and elegant peristyle, was a place of worship dedicated to the god Apollo, who represented music, poetry, and prophecy. The sculptures and remains of the sacred furnishings testify to its great importance and central role in the religious life of the city.
