Museo Archeologico dell’Antica Capua

The museum tells the story of ancient Capua, in Roman times the second city of Italy after Rome. It gathers grave goods from the necropolises, the votive terracottas of the Matres Matutae and the finds that show how rich this plain was before Rome subdued it.
