Campania Libri Festival 2026

Campania Libri Festival 2026

Jesce sole, the claim of the 2026 edition

From October 1st to 4th, 2026, the Campania Libri Festival – The publishing fair returns to Palazzo Reale di Napoli and the Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III, with over 250 events and more than 120 stands to discover among the monumental courtyards.

Jesce sole is the theme of the fifth edition, a tribute to Maestro Roberto De Simone and to Gatta Cenerentola, fifty years after its first performance. A cornerstone work of his ethno-musicological research on popular tradition, the nursery rhyme is among the oldest documents of Neapolitan language.

The multidisciplinary program, rich with presentations of new publications, in-depth events, professional meetings and workshops, includes 13 paths and the Romance section, an absolute novelty of this edition, with a corner dedicated to hosting authors of the genre.

Among the returning paths are those dedicated to reading for children and young people, geopolitics, poetry, history, literature and literary criticism, cinema, noir and translation, as well as Eretiche, Spirituality and Art for existing and for resisting, to which are added this year Sounds of the senses and a path entirely dedicated to Gatta Cenerentola.

The synergy with Cultural Institutes and Universities is confirmed, and collaborations with the main trade associations, as well as with festivals, literary prizes and cultural realities of the territory continue.

Campania Libri Festival is curated by Massimo Adinolfi and organized by the Fondazione Campania dei Festival, directed by Ruggero Cappuccio. The event is financed by the Campania Region.
